Simple Machines roll call

Anyone going?
And is this going to be An Evening With The Secret Machines? Not sure how/if a band with two records pulls that off. Could they not come up with an opener? What are the Apes doing tonight? Call up the Rye Coalition and tell them to drive down. Hell, even WSC is better than nothing.
I've liked the Machines' show in the past but I'm wondering if it's enough to see them a third time with no opener. And what time is it going to start?
Or should I just chuck the whole thing and see Konono No. 1 instead?

I'm in. I was wondering about the opener myself. I worried for a while that this was setting up to be an early show and that it would start at 7:30, but it looks like a normal set. Secret Machines could certainly play for two hours and I would dig it.
I'm sad to miss Konono No. 1 though. I have tickets for that show too but I got them before Secret Machines was announced so they'll need a new home.

Forgot to mention that I'll be there. Most likely at my usual spot at the upstairs barstools.

They also have 2 EPs.
I'll probably go, since I can't make it to Artscape.

I'm on the fence…just seeing what happens to my schedule Friday. Some of their songs are longgg so I wouldn't worry about filling time..Plus, really - two hours?
Kinda cool to see there are people who like openers.

I'll be there, saw them at Lanagerado and it was tight, like their studio stuff as well, definitely think they can play for a while no problem.

I'll be there! I'm doing a little cramming right now. I just finished listening to "Now Here Is Nowhere"… Man, that's a good album! Moving on to "Ten Silver Drops"… Anyway, I was surprised to see there's no opening band, but that's fine with me. If anyone wants to meet up (Tom Servo? Bags? anyone?), I'll be in my usual spot near-ish the Food Food window and the bar on that side….

If I go (it's about an 80% chance), we always head over to the Food Food window general area…
I'd invite you to meet for a drink beforehand, but a friend in a condo nearby is having people over.
