I have some of his early work when he was in rock bands that's more no wavey stuff. There's a symphonic orchestral piece of his called "The World Upside Down" that's great. I don't own any of the reissues. I should check them out though because both Lee Ranaldo and Thurston Moore are on his first one, "The Ascension".

And for the record, I'd be in the Stooges circa 1970, or the Meat Puppets circa 1982.
Since I may get boring with the Pogues (I would spend one week touring with them after the release of If I should Fall…) and the Waterboys (one week touring with them during the Fisherman Blues years), I may have to choose Midnight Oil when they did that movie touring with the Warumpi Band around indigenous areas in Australia.
