Forum Happy Hour (for a good cause)!

Loons and loonettes
I remember a time when we used to socialize face to face from time to time instead of squabbling on the board. So how about a forum happy hour, and for a good cause to boot?
Heurich house is one of DCs most beautiful and unique buildings. Unfortunately, due to a series of unfortunate events (that make Lemony Snickets life look golden), they're kinda screwed unless they can raise a lot of money in the next few months.
So on Friday, theres a tour of the house available for a $5 (or more) donation, after which we could retire to a watering hole of our choice for some choice libations…..???
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Markie? Lulu? Chaz? Hoya? Kosmo? Bags? Arlette? bearman? Seth?
Myself and Relaxer could even share 1 earbud each as we listen to The Woods? :(

I would love to. But I have a secret. I'm not an urban coolster like you guys. I live far, far away in a remote place called…….Virginia. ;)
I'm a couple of hours from DC so a Friday won't work. Hope I do get to meet some of you sometime, but logistics on a week day pose a problem.
Have fun.

Arlette, I hate to shatter the illusion, but if you turned out you'd learn that the overwhelming majority of this board are neither urban nor coolsters!

I've got comp tickets to the Irish dancers thing at the Strathmore, so I can meet folks out late, like 10:30 to 11:00 (pretty late for a Friday…). If there's a bar plan, I'm probably in.
