Although, I do actually like monsters and angels, I say nothing and dont call me baby. The VOTB tracks are very poor compared to the singles.

i'll agree about the strong singles crappy albums… i was listening to the 1st "let it bee" and 3rd "love and misery" records looking for the songs i remember liking and not finding them. turns out i had a comp with "monster and angels" and "i think i love you" from "honey lingers" on it. even the andy partridge co written track is a bit of stinker. it would seem that the 3rd album telegraphed the spice girls with it's heavy synth verses guitar sound of the earlier stuff. in the end there is always a bit of fluff people admit to liking…
