New VH1 "Bands Reunited" episodes...set your T

The English Beat is a nice choice.
Haircut 100, ABC and The Beat are all great ones for me.

Japan would also be a good one, but I don't think they made it that big over here so there's probably no chance.

Thanks for the info….now if I can only remember the times, not having this Tivo you speak of!

Have you ever heard of David Sylvian? He was the lead singer….they had two fine albums 'Japan' and 'Tin Drum'

They are very 80's, but deeper than your usual stuff, with an definate asian influence…hence the name.

wire train. . .i saw them in concert sometime around 1992. i still have one of their cds too.
it's weird they filmed a "reunited" concert and everything in Jan 2003, and nothing came of it. guess their story wasn't compelling enough. damn those bands with their fueding brothers.

I'll have to google them cause I'm sure you can't find anything in the CD stores around here.
Hmmm…I thought I read somewhere that they filmed episodes for Vixen, The Motels, and Scandal as well…

I definitely read elsewhere that a Vixen episode was taped. Maybe they tape them far in advance and roll out so many at a time.

I actually bought that album for 25c yankee in Singapore. And it was on cassette not 8-track, even I'm too young for 8-tracks aren't I? Never owned one anyway.

Yeah, I know they taped a Vixen episode. My friend in LA was at the concert that was taped for it. So I don't know what happened to it. I also heard rumors of a Thompson Twins one too.

Wow, that would be a shocker, I had they didnt leave on such good terms. I think the third person felt like….um……A third wheel.

There was a "Where are they now?" on them in the 90s on MTV or VH1. Two of them had moved to New Zealand to raise a family while the third (the third wheel) stayed in the UK to produce.
guess we'll have to wait for the dvd to come out…

They will go down as one of the absolute worst live concerts I ever had the misfortune to suffer through.

But I did see Ian Dury and the Blockheads the following week, which was absolutely one of the best live concerts I've ever had the fortune to be blessed with.

The ying and the yang of mankies life!!! :)

Maybe not. In the mid-90s, two-thirds of the group (the husband & wife) had some moderate success in clubs as the electronic-leaning group Babble. They released two albums, both of which appear to now be out of print.
