Where can I buy tickets? I can't seem to find anything on ticketmaster. Besides buying tickets online or at the club, are there any other places to buy them? And since this is going to be my first time there, how big is the place and how many people does it hold?
Question about the Ottobar

The capacity is around 300, maybe a bit more than that, but not much. It's smaller than the Black Cat, but bigger than the Velvet Lounge.

i think about 300 seems right, i was there for the fiery furnaces show last friday and it is a pretty small place.
How is the neighborhood around the ottobar? I'm supposed to be walking there from this place called the paper moon.
Originally posted by andyrichter:i live "sort of" in that neighborhood. about 9 blocks away. that specific area, and walking from the Paper Moon diner is fine. perhaps a little ghetto seeming, if you are from the burbs. It basically just run down but you'll be fine if you just walk up 29th St. to Howard St. and follow that to the Ottobar. Those are main roads.

thanks.
you can buy tickets at Reptilian Records, which I end up hitting before going to the Ottobar most times.
missionspace/missiontix is closing soon. Ottobar is a fun, medium sized space. The bonus is great Baltimore beer prices.
