ME, ME, I woulda thought. It was unwatchable, which says little for a show with a hot cast. Actually, the chicks were hot, the men…not so much.

It's alright once in awhile but when the majority of the women must be in very good shape and moderately to highly attractive but the men can let it all go, and not just their hair, it gets very frustrating and unfair. We end up with the message that all women must be a few steps down from Victoria's Secret's models (sure, we'd all love to be) but the men don't have to do anything to attract them except exist. We want some eye candy sometimes too. Or, at least, a fairly believable match. No matter what you thought of the show, at least Rosanne and John Goodman looked like a believable couple.

What shows did have male eye-candy? I am no expert but I would guess:

???

I thought it was because women are less shallow than men and would prefer leading men to be more well rounded and entertaining.

Men, on the other hand, just want T and A.

I know that I'm in a very small minority with this one but I never, ever saw what was so appealing with that man. Nothing against him personally. He just does nothing for me.

The soaps usually have the better looking people, both male and female. The night time shows sometimes have nice looking guys in career roles but rarely as husbands or boyfriends yet the women are almost always hot, short of character actresses. At least, the leading cast. I can't name too much because I watch so little tv. It's not just me either, it's a well-known practice in night time tv casting. BTW, most of we women aren't that deep. We just let you think that. :p

the problem is people on soaps cant act….that why they are hot.

also baywatch and 90210 both had a couple of great looking men, scrubs has that black guy on, hes cute.

But as I noted above, these are career guys. It's the guys who play married men or steady boyfriends who are the, let's say, less appealing men with hot women. That's what bugs me.

Daytime has it together. All My Children and One Life To Live finally started casting some very hot guys in the past 10 or so years. They use to be just photogenic but very little in the heat department. I'd love to be cast in a love triangle with some of those men!

Again, women are expected to always be the hot ones…in real life, and the men keep going on thinking it's okay not to try to improve themselves. And women are at least half of the viewing public. In fact, probably more than 50%. We need some help and enjoyment too.

daytime also has the worst story lines. (ive seen soap operas while with my mom and grandma in new york.)

young "attractive" men dont know how to act in those minor roles, they are taking the career roles.
you also need the retards to make the main characters look better.
