He tried to. At one point he walked out on to the stage, picked up the mike, and said, "Yo D, can I hit this?"

At which point, RJD2 frantically shook his head no, and made it clear to him that he wasn't going to be allowed to "hit" anything. He put the mike away and left the stage.

There was space in Sharkey's set for a rapper to drop a verse or two. RJD2's shit was WAY too dense, and changed up way too frequently, for some hack like that Copywrite dude to try to flow over.

I had a great time at the show, got to talk to Rj before and after the show. You could tell during the show, a few times RJ looked up at the crowd and was like, damn, this is huge. I'm glad everyone came out to support, great intensity.
