First Unitarian Church in Philly

I've been wanting to go here for a while and now I may be tempted with the Islands show Dec. 5th. What's the word on this place? How hard is it to get to, what is parking like, safe/sketchy neighborhood, etc.?
i know it's right off the interstate (76? 676?) to get to 30th street station/upenn campus. so it's easy to get to.

and it's right by rittenhouse square, which is probably the most non-sketchy area in center city philly.

parking shouldn't be too bad either.

with all that said, i've never been inside there (it was still just a church when i lived in philly).
It is still a church, I think. Most shows are in the basement. Area is non-residential, and usually parking isn't bad by the time shows start. Always some space in nearby pay lots.

No sign for the club, but before/during a show there's always kids loitering on Chestnut.

It's small in there, and hot.
yes. very hot.
parking isn't too bad.
i've only been to one show there, though.
