Ah yes, Stevensons Square…I know it very well, and have spent many a drunken hour in the early hours of the am eating my curry and chips while waiting for the all night bus home…oh the memories, such fond memories.
I saw on Pollstar that Simply Red is doing some gigs in the US. You must be stoked, mankie.
Don't believe everything you see on Pollstar, they are wrong sometimes…

Simply Red!!! Thought Hucknall was in prison or dead or something.
Don't know about that but Inspiral Carpets have reformed and have been doing shows in the UK. :D

Are the Gallaghers brothers roadies for them again?
I once stayed in a hotel in London where a (female) Mick Hucknell impersonator (talk about a gig that wouldn't work in the US) hit on me. She told me I looked like the guy who played Harold in Harold and Maude, which I've actually heard a number of times.

No, I didn't fall for her moves. She looked like Mick Hucknell.
Gonna turn that truck of yours into a hearse?

Don't know but I have a couple friends who sort of know Clint Boone. Do you want me to find out for you? :p

I am confused, I thought Rhett was complementing Sonic.

Either way, I wouldnt go and see any of those acts at 930 club other than the White Stripes. I am pretty sure I wouldnt really enjoy that festival.

I'd agree, that lineup doesn't appeal to me either but: The Supersuckers put on a helluva Rawk show.I've never been let down by their sets, high energy rnr with some witty humor thrown in for good measure. They can do the country thing as well if the mood strikes them.

I love the inspiral carpets. I saw them three times. They rocked each time. I wish they would bring their tour over here.
