I'd say you got ripped off with the Inspiral Carpets purchase.

$2.50, man I take hours in their $1 bin. Some classics from there:
Helios Creed "Lactating Purple"
Russell Simins "Public Places"
The Church "Sometime Anywhere"
The Astroid #4 "Introducing…"
The Clarks "Someday maybe"
Blue Balls Deluxe "Whiskey, Whores, & Overtime"
Sparta "Wiretap"
Old 97s "Too Far to Care"
and lots of random stuff that I have no clue what it is but I know the labels usually have good stuff (with about a 75% hit rate).

Did anyone catch the show in Baltimore. My friend Craig ran video projection for the show,I was wondering if he still had the touch.Shame Helios had to cancel the rest of the tour due to financial hardship, the band he assembled was tight.

Wow, I was talking with Craig at that show. Was brilliant, he was spot on, louder than hell and the band as you say was tight. I have several of his albums (that copy of Lactating Purple was for a friend), and the songs that I recgonized were so much more powerful and energetic live.

[/QB] Next time you see him you should ask himn for a copy of the film he made in our hometown. It's called Psychedelic Glue-sniffing Hillbillies. You won't regret it,got a great review in High Times when it 1st came out.The entire cast is made up of random hometown eccentrics.Glad to hear Craig still has the flare for the psychedelic. Not that I doubted it,just nice to hear an objective viewpoint,Thanks Sir HC.Was Danno with Craig?

Who is Danno? I bought a CD from Helios and Craig (I assume it was him) was doing the $ at the Merch counter and then did the films. He has a good sense for keeping the films from overtaking the music and not being too low key either. Worked well. Think there were some slides of Kenny Scharf's work, that or someone who likes his style.

He assists Craig. If there were 2 people including Craig doing video, the other one was Danno. They can do some pretty amazing synchronization and special effects.
