Squeeze Glen Tilbrook

My hairstyle now looks like the same out of date Caesar cut that yours is. But it's growing back.

I thought that. And the guy looks like Rhett……
Is Rhett still donning that bob-cut that he thinks is so cool and trendy?

I was hoping Celeste had changed that as her first order of business.

Yes, he cut his hair real short, but isnt it a bit gay to talk about other mens hairstyles?

Not when we're discussing a "Simple Minds" cut!

Rhett, why did you get your hair cut in the shape of a salad? Is that the new Red Room look?
I wonder if Celeste would find Mankie's short hair as gay as she finds mine? Well, my gay hair will be gone in another six months.

Male balding kicking in hey?

My hair is not gay….gray maybe, but not gay!

Actually, I've always kept my hair short. I've tried to let it grow but after being in the military for all that time, I can't do it, it just pisses me off. I have such lovely thick wavey hair too….well that's what all the girls tell me. ;)
My sister in law says this cut fits me because it hides my "receding hairline".

Celeste likes it longer, even with receding hairline (minor at this point), so she'll probably get her way…

C'mon take a walk down 17th Street and all of the gayboys have the same short haircut…

The gay crowd tend to have that flippy thing in the front, or the "just been given a noogie" look, that lulu seems to get horny over.
what a coincidence…i'm listening to "swingin doors" the kexp alt-country show, and they just played this very song…

After his current solo tour, Tilbrook plans to return to Liverpool to record with different musicians. In addition to covering "The Genitalia of a Fool" by Texas country swing band Cornell Hurd, he plans to include his own original songs for a forthcoming, sophomore CD.

No she will order a drink, all will be fine till I turn up, then we both get carded.
Markie…even I get carded in DC..especially in Adams Morgan. Believe me, it's only funny for a while, it gets really fucking annoying when you go north of 40.

You just reminded me. On Monday I was in a local beer/wine place and a couple of hispanic blokes buying some beer. The woman carded the one paying but he didn't have his ID with him so it became a problem….a Korean lady with broken English trying to tell a hispanic dude with broken English he can't buy beer….in the end he had to call his SON over to buy the beer because he had his wallet with him. I don't know about anyone else, but when you have a son old enough to purchase beer doesn't it cross the line of stupidity to require id yourself?

Welcome to America, Mankie! :D
i'd go if he was back at iota and he was going to lead the crowd into the parking lot for a group sing along of pulling mussels from a shell.

Hey I was just reading the Post Express and Glen Tilbrook is playing the Birchmere tonight.

Why did no one tell me?

Is anyone going?
i'd hope a cab at braddock road. should be $5. or you can take one of the buses and they go right by the birchmere. i've just shared cabs back to the metro with other patrons once the show is done. the food there is utter shit though so eat ahead of time.

As I said I only just found out.

As I said, "more music savvy", so my comment wasn't directed towards you! ;)

Get the metro to crystal city and jump in a cab, it's just down the road from there, about 2 miles or so.

I don't think I can go, I can't get out of work on time. If things change though I'll let you know later this afternoon.
