For the most part the list is fine, but the placements outside of the top five are ridiculous.
I find it strange that not too long ago Rolling Stone proclaimed Anson Funderburgh as one of the greatest guitarist of the past 20 years, and he's nowhere on that list.
I think all of those artists are effective "vocalists". Good singers, no, but good vocalists.

I love that the Radiohead guitarists are ahead of EDDIE VAN HALEN. What does that even mean? The list often confuses producing (Kevin Shields) or songwriting (Lou Reed) with guitar-playing. For starters, give me Slash, Dr. Know, and Richard Lloyd. . .

Now they're random and always seriously flawed. And confusing. Trying to wrap my head around Lou Reed being a better GUITAR player than Eddie Van Halen, when he's never even the best guitar player on stage, is more difficult than calculus.
