Having my SO in Connecticut… so far away… so far.

That and my union having just voted to authorize a strike. I support it, sure, but it makes me sad that I have to give up my pay to get better pay. I work for a lefty org– we shouldn't have to strike.

Actually, I haven a clue about politics. So I dont know a thing about any of them or what they are saying. All's I know is I get a hefty paycheck and life goes on happily. Even If I didnt get a hefty paycheck life would still go on happily with a smaller one (paycheck). No big deal.

It is unusual to find anyone to admit to that. But it probably is common enough.
