Give me an M3 over anything else. The 7 series might be okay once they get the trunk to close properly..or at least look like it does. Also, tech's love the 7 series because it's making them all rich.
I would take an Audi over a bimmer any day, but that's just me.

If you open the trunk and look at the lines without that 7 series trunk thing, then the car is georgous. With the trunk closed it may as well be a Saab. I drove one and was not all that impressed to be honest, but I am used to driving Ferraris and Massers so I'm spoiled.

Nice to be spoiled like that.
Are we getting the Bimmer 1-series here?

I've been told no, but then again we were told the US wouldn't get the Audi A3, which you now are, so BMW will probably follow suit with the 1 series.

Still it is a big gamble for Beemer, it cant afford to lose 3-series sales, not even to itself.

When I'm waiting to see a group perform, people who assume i'm in line to see a rap group just because i'm black. White people listen to rap don't they? Where's the double standard that says that i MUST listen rap only and nothing else? Rap sucks.

Area traffic.
Rude or mean or controlling people.
People who have to be right.
Music snobs.

Some Arlington bars, the youngsters and the area surrounding.
People at work who have to say "hi." or "How 'bout them Skins?" EVERY time they see you (equals at least 10-20 times).
People who blast their car stereos at gas stations.
Those loud ass mufflers.
People who attend a show, art exhibition, game, store, etc. b/c it's seen as the "hip" thing to do. While non-supportive of everything else.

But there are a lot, lot more white people (both in numbers and percentage of population) who listen to rap than there are black people who listen to classic rock and alternative…no?

What pisses me off is when white people that enjoy rap act all 'black' and try to talk all 'ebonics' and stuff. There's one white idiot at the same gym I go to who works out with a few black blokes, only he's more black than the black fellows…..I don't know his name, so referred to him as "8 mile" one time to one of the black blokes who pissed himself laughing, so now he has a new name.
THE ONLY BLACK GUY AT THE INDIE-ROCK SHOW
At every single show, I am the only one who looks like me; the only sign of melanin in one big sea of ivory. My FUBU shirts and Tommy jeansâ?¦their bowling shirts and dirty Vansâ?¦I look just like a thug amongst the dressed-down Pavement fans. It shouldn't even matter that I'm the only black guy at the indie-rock show. I stand in a crowd and still feel alone. Some loser at the Mercury said, "I just want to let you know Jay-Z's at Austin Music Hall. I think you're at a different show" (that's not funny, man). Everyone is standing still (nodding heads and folded hands), looking at me like a freak because I have the nerve to dance. I ask my black friends to try out something new and come with me to the show; they're so reluctant to go. There's more to music than rap and R&B, but they say rock is a white man's game. I know Chuck Berry wouldn't feel the same. I told a white friend the opening band was "crunk." He didn't understand the slang. He asked if I was in a gang. I wonder if I will live to see the day when I see rock bands on BET and black girls dance to GBVâ?¦and I wonder if white folks who like Jay-Z often feel as alienated as me.

Hmm…I never get any strange looks. Even when I went to a rockabilly show. Everyone was cool, in fact, I don't think they even cared. Maybe it helps being a girl? *shrugs* It may also "help" that I don't wear P.Doodly's clothes or any of that shit.
I also can't stand rap music.

In fact, i think i stood next to you before… you looked like you were really enjoying the music and i'm sure you were. I forget who was playing.. The Vines, perhaps? Anyway, I just get frustrated with ignorant black people who look at me like i'm a freak or a wierdo when i say i only listen to rock music. I know that horrible word (sell-out!) goes through their minds.
