I think it is then reasonable to say that that was not a consensus opinion.

Fine that is fair, but just so facts are straight, I was with two other people who both thought it was crap as well. Probably a case of expectations that were too high, and a show that came off to me as a novelty act.

Actually I do think they are a novelty act in the way you probably meant.

the best thing about pre-sales is you cannot go to an outlet to access them. Therefore you have to pay the full ticketmaster ™ service charge, cool huh?

Yeah, this whole pre-sale thing is really beginning to get ludicrous. I tend to know about them because, well, this is my primary 'hobby' so I spend a lot of time on it, but I think it's crappy that fans who aren't perhaps *the* most fervent could get screwed.
Thank god 96% of the bands I like don't usually even sell out, much less bother with pre-sales.
