That does look good. Now if they could only somehow dissuade OAR, String Cheese, Leftover Salmon, etc. from playing all would be right with the world… Shouldn't they be at Gathering of the Vibes or something?

Yes, I tend to agree with you. But I guess they are trying to appeal to as diverse a crowd as possible.
Also, with 8 stages going on at once, you need some bad acts thrown in to make the decision about which acts to see at least slightly easier.

Anyhow, yes that is an amazing line-up and of all the places in Texas, Austin is the only place I can stand. Not only is Austin tolerable, it's a damn good time!

We're already booked for Seattle, so I guess our choice between thetwo is already made. Our schedule only permits us Saturday and Sunday for Bumvershoot, which means we'll miss out on the Shins (Friday) and Wilco (Minday). Hopefully, Bumbershoot will add some good bands, I wasn't that impresssed with the initial lineup announcement.
