i thought you were forced to listen to "straightedge" by minor threat when you crossed over from virginia … by the way, has anyone noticed how much minor threat completely blows? i'd heard their stuff here and there, then i bought their complete discography for 8 bucks or something, and i was really disapointed …
sure, the band meant much more than their recorded product, but taken separately, it fucking blows.

Now hang on a minute…..if "straight edge" punks :roll: don't do anything bad for you, then they obviously have opinions about stuff and are judgemental, so that would contradict the whole punk movement. What happened to punks being "we're so vacant, oh so pretty vacant, and WE DON'T CARE!"? Fucking straight edge wankers if you ask me. (written by someone old enough to be around when punks first hit the scene in the 70's)
This shit reminds me of the skinhead movement a bit….what are those skinheads called that are against racism and all that stuff? Well, coming from an original skinhead…Skinheads were never racist, in fact, half of our gang were black! It was all about ska music. I think racism came into the skinhead movement as part of the football hooliganism, so the racist twats began to dress like skinheads because they looked menacing. America, as usual, gets the whole thing wrong and now associates "skinheads" with the KKK and all that stuff, so non-racist kids who are into ska music have to distance themselves from the racist pigs by coming up with some new name, when in reality, they are the ones continuing the true skinhead movement.
