I found out about this like 2 weeks ago, but in case you haven't seen Virgin Festival is having a "fan vote" to see who opens the Virgin Festival this year. Last I checked Cold War Kids were in the lead and I checked the other day and some other band was in the lead. But it's all over MTV2 now which I found weird. Anywho the bands are:

Say Anything, Aiden, Muse Math, Cold War Kids and The Higher.

Just head over to virginfestival.com and click on "book the band". I think it's an awesome idea if only they had a band i really liked. the Kids are alright though.

now looks like the kids are in next-to-last place, say anything and aiden are kicking this asses. MTV generation not dead?
