(i didn't intend for that to rhyme)
does this mean my free nighttime minutes (starting at 9pm here) kick in at 6pm out there?
or does the satellite know i'm out there and it just shifts?
anyone care to answer this riddle…
my next move is to call verizon, but they might not give me a straight answer.

thanks, that's what i figured. i guess otherwise, everyone in california would buy their phones while visiting the east coast… and that's one to grow on…
carry on.

And for the record, you're only in the Pacific Time Zone half the year. Freaks, I tell ya.

I still have my (202) cell # at the moment, but I've only been in Portland for a few days shy of a month. Since most of my PDX friends own a cell and no landline phone, it doesn't matter too much. Bonus if we use the same provider so we don't use/lose minutes. Though, I'll probably switch it over eventually as it's no extra charge with Verizon.
And no, I didn't follow any 9:30 board members to the West Coast. I ended up here rather, er, randomly. :D
