I'm sorry that ODB didn't live up to your high moral standards. By picking up food stamps, he seemed to be taking responsibility for his children. Wow, what a scumbag.

He made $230,000 that year and was able to provide for his family without public assistance.

Still, I'm gonna miss reading about his antics and stuff…
If he had been truly responsible, he would have married one woman and had a family with that one woman, instead of fathering a dozen children with several mothers.

Picking up food stamps for you kids doesn't really qualify as highly responsible if you're not around to function as a father to your children and husband to their mother.

i'm sure you'd say the same thing about mick jagger when he dies.
Maybe not Mick, but surely Eminem, Saddam Hussein, Alan Iverson,or Dick Cheney.

right, and they said it was on an MTV special.
Actually it was VH1, and since it was a documentary on how and when he was getting out of jail, and his life in general. So why would that stuff get made up?

I thought the guy was a riot, but not really a role model.

but mick jagger apparently has been just as irresponsible, with the whole multiple women/children out of wedlock/enough kids to start a soccer team thing.

so what sets ODB apart?

cause its a TV show.

and what did Allen Iverson ever do, Rhett?

Don't be messin' with Eminem!!!!!!!!
I wasn't aware that Mick Jagger had 12 kids with several different women by the time he was 35. But if so, he's not a very good role model either.

At least Mick Jagger put out some good music by the time he was 35, which would separate him from ODB.

so basically, as long as the guy does something you appreciate, he deserves to live? but if not, fuck em?

so because you didn't like his music, you're glad he died…nice.

i'm sure his grieving mom would appreciate that.

I am not saying Rhett is right, just showing what he has been accused of doing
Isn't the bigger point that it is kind of stupid to say "good riddence" about anyone's death? (I guess barring some dictator, meglomaniac, or the like).
You clearly know nothing about him (For example: The staged food stamp episode was a staged event on MTV in the mid 1990's when they still had "MTV News"- and distinct from the VH1 special that checked on his release from jail; which I don't see as too different then any of the stupid things any number of famous people do in order to get media coverage and present an image)
So your point is that you don't like his music, and for that you cheer his death. Great point, and it certainly isn't laced with any racial overtones, because he is a rapper and not some idie rock mope.
