looks like the scalpers raped us big time on this one. ticketmaster being one of them. if you typed in one ticket, you could sometimes pull up a lousy floor seat in the back sections, never the front. i bet the front sections are already on ebay and stubhub - which is just a scalping outlet for ticketmaster to be able to get away charging different prices for each row of each venue. god, they would love to be able to do that on their own site.

best i came up with was sec 102 row AA (i.e. front row on the rail), or Floor Sec 4 row G. tickets weren't for me, and my friend took too long to get his CC info to me so i didn't buy any. but yeah, i pulled up a LOT of shitty seats before getting those. poor selection indeed, but such are market vagueries when supply < demand.
Remember when Depeche Mode did GA for the Patriot Center back in 1998 for their Greatest Hits tour? Now THAT was a fun show. I'm a little surprised the main floor isn't GA, Oasis used to do that every time they came through. I am actually going to try for tix for the Chicago show, I'll let all of you know what I come up with since I can't do the DC show.

i'm actually thinking of skipping this with it being all seated. i'm not paying $60 to sit… i'll pay like $12 and see local h on the backstage the same night. haha.

meh. i think i'll skip this and try to make the road trip to asheville to see do make say think at the grey eagle instead.
i was helping a friend for this on-sale (i won't be around for the show), and my best pulls were Floor 5 row F and Sec 102 row BB. he ended up going with something a tad better, but not by much. neither of us got floor 1, 2 or 3. eh.
