There's alot of turmoil within the Russian hockey federation. Alot of the older players still bristle at the Victor Tikhanov regime, which is why players like Federov, Zhamnov and Khabiboulin aren't playing.
Having said that, the Russians have impressed me with their speed and talent. The US team went for more of a grinding style which they thought would work on the smaller ice surface. Oooops.
Anyhow, I'm taking any and all bets on the Canada/Russia game. Look for me on TV (oh, wait… y'all don't know what I look like :=)). We'll be at all the Toronto games.
