Knowing that in 3 weeks and 1 day today I will be sat in Molly's on the banks of Lough Derg with a pint of Beamish in my hand and America will be just like an 18 year long bad dream!
Oh, and walking in the door and hearing the word "PAPA" and then the sound of little feat running to the door to meet me.

Watching my little girl ride the kiddie rides at Funland, on the boardwalk in Rehobeth. While she goes round and round she waves not only at me and her mom, but at everyone and with a huge shit eating grin. It's so damn cute I could watch it for hours.

Hey chaz, how is the boardwalk down there? As compared with OC's I guess. I need a change of scenery once in awhile and wanted an opinion before I went. Mostly interested in the beach area and boardwalk and do they have restrooms nearby if I'm laying on the beach all day?
My favorite beach up there is Bethany…definately the quietest and least crowded (but they're all pretty crowded). I'd imagine the beach near the boardwalk in rehobeth gets quite crowded during the day but there are bathrooms on the boardwalk for beach visitors to use. Like I said, we usually stay in Bethany and go to the beach there during the day. The boardwalk is ok….I'd never visit if it weren't for the kids but I have a good time when we do. There's loads of decent restaurants scattered around the neighborhood behing the main drag there in rehobeth…after a day at the beach we'll drive over there for a good meal and then stroll around and let our little girl ride the rides and play all those silly games for cheap stuffed animals. Good times.
The Rehobeth boardwalk is much smaller and less scummy than OC's. Not as nice as it used to be, but a big improvement over ocean city. I can't stand that place and avoid it like the plague.
