Not at all. But the last two times I've booked through hotwire, I've gotten this place
http://new-york-barclay.intercontinental.com/ for $140/night. Certainly a better place than some of the links I've clicked on which had comparable prices.

I have to agree. If you are able to get a good rate, Priceline or hotwire is the way to go. I've stayed in some really great places that way. But if one of those sites won't accept your price (which has happened to me during peak season), then go with one of the others.
