Anyone know a good singer??

Since the CityPaper adverts have been of no use I'll ask around here…

We need a brilliant singer who looks the part.. the influences are Doves, Travis, Coldplay, Stone Roses, blah blah blah…

Please no fookin screamers!!! seems every person answering and advert with the Radiohead influence thinks of "Creep" insted of "There There" or "Fake Plastic Trees"… a shame.. has HFS and nu-metal left DC without a decent singer… if you lot anyone refer him to me.. we got about 10-12 very good songs with no voice to take them to next level…

and I'm not toying about, we are the fookin' bees knees..

james mudriczki of puressence is the best singer i know of, good luck trying to get him and if you do, let me know.

The Rain Band will play on an open air stage at Stevenson Square in
the heart of Manchester's Northern Quarter on Sunday 14th September.
This is part of In The City in conjunction with Key 103. It's totally
free and we expect it to reach the area's 4000 capacity. Other acts
confirmed so far include Alfie, The Stands, Puressence, Haven,
Longview & Kinesis. It will run from 1pm until 10pm."

Bungle, I just got the full line up.

"Stevenson's Square is off Oldham Street, which itself is off Piccadilly Gardens. Piccadilly Records, Eastern Block and Night and Day Cafe are up there. The area is known locally as the 'Northen Quater'. There will be loads going on in town over the entire weekend as the 'In the City' music industry event is on. The square itself should attract around 4000 people and it is getting promoted with 'Key 103' radio station which should ensure that it's a succesful day. All the local indie record shop's will be open as well as the bars and cafe's in the area. It will be a great day. Lets hope the weather stays nice. Full line-up is 808 State, Alfie, Haven, Longview, Puressence, Stands, Kinesis, Nylon Pylon, Jenna G, Machine Gun F."

Damn, why can't we get good events like this with good bands!? Something in this part of the country instead on the other side of the continent?

Seth, maybe you and the other club owners, music stores and restaurants can start something here. (Super big hint. :D :D :D
