Yep. PPV on DirecTV (otherwise I have to watch Real on ESPN2 - no way).
Make that 4-0.

If I were a betting man, I would put my money on United.
Other half time scores:
Real 2-0 MArsaille
Sparta Prague 0-0 Chelsea
Rangers 0 - 1 Stuggart

United 5 - 0 Panthiwhatever
Djemba-Djemba (83)
More importantly, Rangers with goals in 74 & 79 minutes have taken the lead over Stuttgart.

Tim Howard, the starting goalkeeper for United, is American.

Anyway, this year I will root for Man. United, Ajax, and Real Sociedad (this basque team is great).

I feel for you Barca, I really do.
I'm pulling for Ajax too (I like the dutch teams) and Real Sociedad have it tough with Juve and Gastalray (it's never easy to play in Turkey), but I like them and Juve to come out of that group.
But Barca's off to a good start in what should be a crowded fight for the UEFA spots for next year, don't you think?

Let's hope we make it to the Champions League next season. I think it might not be difficult. I even think that not playing it this year gives us a good chance of winning La Liga.
As for today's games, I was surprised to see Arsenal losing at home 3-0 against Inter. That game must have been bizarre. Inter has never had a good team overall, it is the typical rich guy buying expensive players here and there, changing coaches now and then, but never making a good block. I don't know, Arsenal is also a very irregular team. Anyway, let's hope Manchester U., Ajax and Real Sociedad make it to the next round.

Arsenal continue their abysmal display in Europe and their pourous defense was brutally exposed. United should kick the shit out of them this weekend. Losing to an Italian team 0-1 is understandable with their boring defensive game, but 0-3 at Highbury is downright embarrassing.
Celtic must be feeling very unfortunate as well with their 0-1 lead being dismantled in the last 20 minutes by Bayern Munich. Oh well - you're spanish team won though, so you must be pleased.

They sure play like it, but Marsaille put up a better fight against Real, I can assure you that.
And Monaco beat PSV Eidenhoven, who really haven't recovered from the loss of Ruud Van Nistelrooy.
Therefore, Arsenal may be a bad imitation of a French team, which might make them almost American.

Lokomotiv 0 - Arsenal 0
It looks like they should start thinking about finishing third in their group and therefore getting into the UEFA Cup.
Let's keep this thread alive until the end of the Champions League (feel free to post "go Steelers" and "go Yankees" messages as well).
