You cannot see it in this photo, but the donkey has medical specimens in his baskets. He is taking them to a mountaintop laboratory…high in the Andes. Also, this foto was taken on the hottest day of the year! The straps holding the baskets were pulled a bit too snugly for the donkey's comfort.
