Eels @ Sixth & I tonight

Anyone?
I have a pair of tickets and cant go… Anyone from Richmond or willing to pick them up in Richmond is welcome to them.
The sound sucked tonight, would have been better if they played acoustic.
I have no problems with the sound. His voice was in fine form tonight. Are you kidding me? It would have been boring if they didn't rock out! I loved this show… :D

Sound was fine. My first show at 6th & I and thought it was a very unique venue. It will be very interesting seeing Elbow there next month.
it was a very unique venue
Not to pick on anyone at all but am I the only one who hates that saying? Unique means 'one of a kind'. There are no degrees of uniqueness. Either something is unique or not. Thank you. I am done with the soap box!

Well how many synagogues in the world are used for concerts? I'm sure it's rare… That is where the uniqueness lies.
I wasnt saying that the building was not unique. I was saying that if it was unique it indeed was unique and not 'very' unique. Something is one of a kind or it isnt. As I said I want giving anyone in particualr crap. Merely pointing out a common use of the word in question that seems a bit odd. BTW, sorry for the poor typing here. I am not wearing my glasses.

so i take it you're just a little bit blind?
from dictionary.com:
1. existing as the only one or as the sole example; single; solitary in type or characteristics: a unique copy of an ancient manuscript.
2. having no like or equal; unparalleled; incomparable: Bach was unique in his handling of counterpoint.
3. limited in occurrence to a given class, situation, or area: a species unique to Australia.
4. limited to a single outcome or result; without alternative possibilities: Certain types of problems have unique solutions.
5. not typical; unusual: She has a very unique smile.
I thought the show was a tad TOO loud at times. But all in all - quite a concert! Cant wait for Elbow.
