damn you, azaghal, damn you to hell!

i was unaware of this conflict before you came along and destroyed my blissful ignorance. i have my sword ticket arriving in the mail any day now. i was going to schlep over to the RnR hotel, safe in the knowledge that sword/torche was the best ticket in town.

but oooooh, no. mr. azaghal just couldn't let good enough be. so i checked out Cut Copy's myspace page, where one can stream their new album… and it's a corker. i suspect that it would be a blast to hear live. so your dilemma is indeed a tough one.

i say "your", because i've just discovered that i can catch them in philly on friday night… so it's sword AND cut copy for me - haha, you've been foiled again, mr. azaghal!

This "conflict" is about as hard to decide as whether to:

1) Eat a steak, blitz the quarterback and punch out a zebra at a topless lesbian rodeo

-or-

2) Knit, cry and douche while watching a Sandra Bullock movie

Come ON. This is the SWORD here. Cut Copy is fun music and all, but the Sword plus Torche ejaculates all over them and calls it a day. This is not a conflict, this is a clear path. To Victory.

The new Torche sounds great! :D

Azaghal: You can catch Cut Copy with Black Kids AND Ponytail in Baltimore, May 17th…

Skip them both, get rested, and see Devotchka on Friday night instead.
