LA Times plagiarizes for April fools?

Looks like they stole Onions story from over a month ago.

is there a more worthless major city newspaper than the l.a. times? other than having joel stein as a columnist, there is little that redeems it.

I'm not sure it's stolen. The URL is actually titled Onion.htm so I'm guessing it was used with permission of some sort.
