I just watched this last nite. The musicianship of Zappa's band was just unbelievable. Is there any contemporary comparison?

it's too bad there isn't more older footage, which makes it kinda disappointing. i bet they come up with another dvd in the future. people (myself at the front of the line) will buy pavement stuff, and buy lots of it.

I'm terrible about buying DVDs and never watching them. I have watched this one though:

HA! i have Neu and Hey Bob My friend.

totally awesome spastic stuff. they are played in my car a lot. its fun to blast them in city traffic with the windows down :)

Saw the film at the old Black Cat years ago and eventually picked up a copy for a couple of bucks. Haven't gotten around to watching it again. Kind of like all those DVDs that came with CDs.
