You're done.
You lost the argument.
You've resulted to (really bad) name calling.
Don't be bitter.

if you're going to get into arguments and leave with any semblance of dignity, you'll need to do better than simply dismissing the other person and declaring yourself winner.
you really are 16 year old (or less), aren't you?
You don't really think I would lose dignity over a message board post? That's really quaint.
I still know a better team wins a playoff series. The Stanley Cup goes to the winner of the playoffs. The best team wins the Cup.
If you'd like to also run around with yer lil' buddy and act this isn't true, be my guest.
I'm not arguing it anymore. Yes, I'm 'owned' by not going along with the retarded notion the team with the best regular season record is the best team of the season or playoff series.

(In England we call that your bogey team) You meet that team in the playoffs and it's goodbye, you're out in 7. This crappy team then go out 4-0 in the next round because they're, well, crap, but the team who swept them you've beaten them handsomely every time you played them during the regular season….who's the best team?

Ever heard the saying…."this is the playoffs, everything changes"
What a series!
I have struggled to find an emoticon for a stomach punch.

It's hard to expect the Caps to go all the way considering 3 months ago they were dead effing last in the East. They did damn fine and next season will be spectacular.
Here here!
The Caps did amazingly well, as did the Flyers. Dead last in the entire NHL last year and the worst record in team history. Then this year make the playoffs. The Caps were written off months ago and somehow made he playoffs and ran the series seven games. Four one-goal games, Two two-goasl games, two games intop OT, Hell yeah that was a kick ass series.

Is this like an election where I can demand a recount, because 3-2 is pretty darn close.
;)

Although technically that is a recount at taxpayer expense. You may well be able to call for a recount at your own expense no matter the margin. Then again am I giving the Washington Post fodder for their blogs?

But don't you think the 'best' team is one that finds a way to get over their bogey team in a series.
Like in real football, the majority of Europeans aren't going to remember Juventus came out of the qualifying rounds with the best record in the 2004 Champions League. They'll remember Liverpool winning it over Milan.
(Again the 'best' to the majority of Europe, not UK since they couldn't even break into the top four of the Premiership that year.)
