I think they should rename that list the Top 100 Cities in America (if having a life is not important to you).

my hometown would rank in the top 100 worst places - as i'm pretty sure any west virginia town would.

You better believe it. And eventually, they'll even fill the empty store front where Peebles clothing store has been…maybe with a Fashion Bug. Eat that, Mr. California!

I've always thought that the women of DC have slim pickings when it comes to DC men.

it's true. dc isn't quite as bad as baltimore. i've at least met a couple cute guys out… but alas, it was the young republican type. so it's tough out there too.

We have 'punk rock at the 9:30 Club' and a thriving LNS scene . . . for starters. It is indeed great to be alive and single and in DC.

your belief is in line with my girfriend's female friend's observations (read: constant bitching :roll: ). listening to them, you'd think every male in this city is either gay or a complete troll.

the article aren't attributed to any individual author(s), but i'm willing to bet that it was written by a man/men… in which case, rating DC as a great city for singles would be understandable.

and i note that the 930 Club was mentioned in the article - AKA grand central station for the indie poon-train express!
