Neil Young at DAR - Pee before it starts

Hi,
This is a heads up for anyone going to Neil Young at DAR next week. Supposedly he has a very strict policy in place this tour of not letting people come back to their seats until the show is over if they have to leave.
It's hard to believe this would be true, but the following was sent to me by a serious hardcore Neil fan who has probably read every bit of news there is to read about the current tour.
So, you might want to alter your pre-show plans if they included having several beers.

"Just a word of warning: Neil Young's policy on this tour is that if you get up to leave your seat then you cannot come back. People who have gone out to the bathroom have had to wait in the lobby till the concert is over. You are
told as you leave your seat you cannot come back by the ushers. I don't know if they make this clear at the venue or not. He wants everyone along for the entire ride, so to speak."

I love Neil Young's music but he's such a tool. Are they going to issue a pair of depends as they stamp your hand?

at the prices people are paying for these tickets, i can hear the boos and throwing of objects from here.

I really need two tickets to this. If anyone has two extra I promise to leak beforehand and remain seated.

i can't find any verification of this online anywhere…can anybody else?

I'm avoiding looking at anything about this tour online as I don't want to hear about the setlist.

Again, the person that sent this to me is a hardcore Neil fan and knows I'm going to the show coming up and wanted to warn me about this. I can't imagine he would make this up.

Oh, yeah. This sounds exactly like something that Neil Young would do. He's always been a very touchy prima dona like that. At one time, it was quite common for him to walk off stage if he felt the audience was making too much noise or not paying attention. (DC should be a very short show if he still plays that game.) If it weren't for the size, The Shushmere would be his ideal venue.

You're right, the cd I bought at Starbucks, Live at Massey Hall, he tells the crowd to wait between songs before taking photo's because it's putting him off. I wouldn't mind if he were Paganini or something but it's Neil fucking Young, the guitar playing of a 12 year old in his bedroom after homework.

I can't believe that he doesn't let people back in for the remainder of the show. That's just ridiculous. But I can see him making you wait until the current song is over before you can return. That wouldn't really surprise me at all.

anyone know the logistics for this one - what time does Neil come on?

It's not true, at least not at DAR. You'll probably have to wait until a break between songs, but people weren't prevented from returning to their seats. I wish I was going again tonight.
