I'll be at the Black Cat Thurs and Friday for this. BC website says it's sold out. Anybody else going?

Anybody have thoughts on how long sets will be on Thursday/Friday since there are so many bands? I might be a tired, withered man by the time Versus comes out on Friday.

i'm surprised there isn't more teenbeat interest on this board…

i will be at all three nights, but i may leave the galaxy hut to see some of wilco. i am not only stoked to see the unrest and versus reunions, but tuscadero and eggs as well. plus/minus and the fontaine toups are good, too (that is, if you're a versus fan).

Unrest night only! It's way too soon for a Versus "reunion," and Tuscadero bore me. I hope Unrest have their shit together; Robinson's latest outings haven't been so great (in my opinion) so I hope Bridget takes control (I think she is what made them so great; look at Unrest before Bridget, and then look at Robinson's stuff after Air Miami…). I'm looking forward to Eggs too…

I thought for sure these would sellout way ahead of time. I'm very surprised at the apparent lack of interest. <shrug>

I really only know Versus/Unrest by reputation, but I can't wait to see Eggs, Tuscadero, +/- and Jonny Cohen. The only reason I'm skipping the Galaxy Hut show is because of Wilco.

These are all local bands, right? I came to late to the local scene – while I was going to 9:30 and B.C. for national acts, I never checked out local stuff until about 3 years ago. yes, call me loser, I'll take it.

i mean, unrest is a local band in the same way fugazi is a local band.

bands that play the velvet lounge on a weeknight, those are local bands.

I'll be there Friday night. Not ashamed to confess my undying love for Tuscadero.

After about 5 years of begging for a Tuscadero reunion, i wasn't going to miss it for the world. I bought my tickets in January, in fact!

I can't wait to see Versus tomorrow night. I usually drive up to New York to see their 'once a year' show. I don't think they are really broken up, they are just sorta broken up. Suppoedly they might play a new song tomorrow night. Tuscadero will be great too, I haven't seen them in years. I'll be at the show tonight but will lave after +/- because of work in the morn. 8am meetings are dumb. I'll just have to get twice as drunk on friday to make up for it :) Did anyone go to the Galaxy Hut show?
