highly recommend checking out
the Avett Brothers. If you are not sold on them after seeing them live, well then I just don't know.

I'll be there for Old 97's, who, by the way, are playing at 8PM, not 8:30 as erroneously written on the artscape website.
I've seen the Avett Brothers, and they sucked big time. Not trying to be comtrary, just calling it the way I saw it. Imagine the the Iron and Wine guy screaming like a chicken with his head cut off while playing amateurish bluegrass, and you get an idea of the unpretty picture!

Well my pic has been posted on here so many times lately, it would be hard not to pick out the old guy with the pretty wife and cute baby.
I'm not staking my life on the 8PM Old 97's start time, but that's what it says on their Myspace site, on the Baltimore Sun site, and what it originally said on the Artscape website before they revamped the site.
We'd check out some Lupe Fiasco too if we didn't have our little girl in tow, but don't want to push our luck too much.

Old 97's were good as always, from my vantage point in the very back. Why some people insist on lighting up cigarettes while standing close to a newborn I'm not sure, but whatever. Out daughter slept through the whole show.
