Well, one of the three 2-1 teams had to sit out. I mean Canada beat the U.S., Mexico beat Canada, and the U.S. beat Mexico. The biggest difference was Canada was the only team to get blown out…..and that was against Mexico of course, that's what killed them. But doesn't the U.S. still have to beat South Africa to make it? It would be one of the biggest upsets in history I guess……GO ROCKET ROGER!!!!!!!!

I am just saying, a tie breaker game wouldnt have hurt anyone!

You have to have someway to break the tie and run-differential seems as fair as anything else.

the bench has some speedsters and very good role players…relief pitching is good..concerned about starting pitching but seeing as there will be a 75pitch limit for starters, mid-relievers and a good bullpen will be more important…

I couldn't care less who wins; I hate baseball. If anything, I'd want the US to lose just for laughs.

I saw the US come from behind to beat Japan on Sunday. However, I saw South Korea beat them last night (highlights only). The only good thing is that the games don't suck and no major injuries have took place!

Who do I take with the number 8 pick, it's a fantasy league not roto and 16 teams protected six players……Utley, Perralta or Dunn? I'm kind of high on Peralta since good hitting shortstops are hard to come by.

Well I'm chuffed that my home team will be in the semis in San Diego…against Cuba or Puerto Rico, I think we'll be in the finals..

Sad not many people seem to care…I for one have been hooked and Sal now owes me 2 beers which is even better…

Smackie..maybe Americans don't care…but I can vouch for the Cubans, Dominicans, Puerto Ricans and Venezuelans…this is bigger than Olympics for us..finally we get to showcase our talent at our own "World Cup" if you will…everyone home is glued to everygame…even when our team isn't playing…
