i've never referred to them as brother and sister since the legal documents proving their marriage surfaced a couple years ago… i'm sure there were people in detroit who knew along they weren't married, but the rest of the world had to go by their story.

nope… i have a gut feeling is he's a local musician from nova, in town for the holidays, who went on to bigger and better things. but i don't know the scene well enough to start to figure out who he could be.

As long as it wasn't Tommy Keene…though I don't think he'd be described as tall, necessarily.

I'm hoping you mean 67"! :D
I was just trying to get bags going.
The fonts on this board are screwy. There's an apostrophe between the 5 and the 7, you just can't see it. So, yes, he's about 67 inches tall.

EmmyLou Harris was valedictorian of her class at Woodbridge HS, but I bet it wasn't her that was at Iota.

No worries, Mank. I never thought you cared about the hype – trust me! Just love that phrase, DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!
That whole sister/brother and husband/wife crap is some of the stuff I think is silly and distracting. Whatever. If the kids enjoy it, go for it.

One comment on the Post review- It says Jack White needs to learn to be more of a showman to play the bigger venues. But he seems to have learned the first rule of showmanship- always leave them wanting more.
The set was certainly on the lower key side. I was especially happy to hear One More Cup of Coffee. The set could have used another rave-up like Astro/Jack the Ripper to really get things going . . . Too bad they didn't play another night in DC.

Anyone have a set list for this show?
I thought the show was excellent, but I agree with most of the comments that there was something lacking… I put the blame on both the audience and Jack. The audience was way too apathetic. I think it's the college crowd. They'll attend any concert on campus because it's convenient, not necessarily because they are a real fan of the performer. Plus they have nothing better to do than get in line, so they got all the spots nearest the stage. Someone else mentioned that there were a lot of young, first-time concert-goers, and I have to agree. At the same time, I think Jack could have done more to get the audience going. He barely acknowledged the crowd until the final song, and he and Meg often didn't give the audience time to even applaud before going into the next song. That said, I enjoyed the heck out of it, and there were definitely some fans there that were just as excited as I was, but a lot of people were just standing around.
