I'll be there in Section 111. Really just going to see Ben Folds play for an hour. Hoping not to fall asleep while John Mayer is up there.
Ben Folds - John Mayer Roll Call
Maybe Folds will beat the piano with his stool. That's always a good time… I would be there he weren't opening for John Mayer at the Verizon Center…
Just laugh at the faces Mayer makes - that should keep you awake.
Have Fun!

The show was pretty entertaining.
Missed James Morrison completely while eating dinner. Don't know any of his stuff, so don't know that I missed anything.
Ben was solid, as usual. Sound at Verizon kind sucked, and all the John Mayer fans there didn't really "get" Ben Folds. Crowd was talking through the first 3/4 of his set. But I still loved it.
John Mayer was surprisingly good. I thought it was going to be a fairly mellow bluesy show. But he rocked out pretty decently, sounded good, and…much to my surprise…is a pretty damn good guitar player.

Why is it a surprise that Mayer is a good guitar player? If Rolling Stone magazine is to be believed, he's a guitar God.
And what is there to not "get" about Ben Folds?

I agree, Mayer is a damn good guitar player. Gravity was a great live song.
count me as one of the people that doenst "get" ben. he's a good performer and all, i just dont like his music as a whole–i'd like it more if he werent singing.
i love his interaction with the crowd, but he just doesnt do anything for me.
i missed james morrison and thought i missed ben, but ended up hearing about half of his show.
