it turned white…no, I'm kidding. I lost the baby unfortunately.
Samantha, I am sorry to have made a joke about a sensitive situation. Hopefully, you are on your way to personal growth and learning from this experience that will better inform your future decisions, and also on your way to emotional recovery.

Back to my point. Of course you can't ball all black men up into one man, but let's say you can. If a man now has the opportunity to date beautiful women deemed by society as the most desireable whereas in the past he only had the opportunity to date lesser attractive women, in most people's eyes, he has made progress.

How has he made that progress? Probably by becoming more educated and financially successful, two qualities which tend to attract women more often than they should in a just world.

LOL….it turned white….didnt expect to hear that :D . Anyways i'm wondering which post Sal Paradise had a problem with. I'm just saying i dont see how its right for a black person to call another black person the N word. I dont think its right for a white person to do it but at the same time it shouldnt be right for a black person to do it either. Everybody got a big laugh when Junior Seau made the chicken and watermelon joke about Ladamian Tomlinson, had that been a white guy, he woulda been kicked out of the NFL. Its definetely not a word i would use (being white) and alot of my female black friends know that i would chosse a black girl just as quickly as i would choose a white one.

decisions? please, you inform me, how do I choose what mother nature has control over?

why do you have to condescend me at every turn? do you need reassurement of your age, maturity, or gender? what is it you're trying to prove by your admonishing me?
I was not being condescending. I was merely suggesting that a child of 16 really shouldn't put herself in a position where she could potentially become pregnant. (You seem like a bright girl with a good future ahead of you; having a baby at your age probably is not a wise decision?)

And if she insists on having sex, hopefully it's in a loving relationship, and she is responsible enough to be on the pill, take it diligently, and thus prevent the possibility of an an unwanted pregnancy.

at least get my age correct, I am 17. If you want to talk about this you can take it in a pm with someone else. I'd rather not have my very personal life brought onto a forum for dissecting.
All right. Fair enough. Thanks for clarifying your age. Again, I apologize for making a joke at your expense, and for making comments that you took to be condescending. Hopefully end of discussion. Have a good weekend.

Really? So you've apparently tried it already, then?
