Rabbit Fur Coat - Jenny Lewis with the Watson Twins

…comes out on January 24th, but has been floating around the interweb for a few weeks now. I finally found it today, and, well…wanted to know if anyone else has gotten it yet? It's great.

Cameo's from Ben Gibbard, M.Ward, and Oberst; as well.

I haven't gotten it yet, but then again I wasn't aware it had leaked. Does it sound like More Adventurous?

eh. it's interesting. they are both more folky-type albums, but More Adventurous has a whole lot of Blake's (signature!) twang, and Rabbit Fur Coat doesn't really have the twang. some of the songs are also a little gospel-y, but it totally works.

when i heard about this album a while ago, i wasn't sure if it would be a good idea or not; but the versatility of Jenny's voice practically brought me to tears. it's beautiful.

I have a feeling it's going to be in my top 10 of next year. I love it so far.
