i didn't go to 930 too much this year and a lot of what i saw there was kinda disappointing – spoon, new pornographers, teenage fanclub. i might be forgetting some.

yep, that was opening for bloc party. it wasn't quite as awesome as their show last year on the backstage, but it was pretty crucial.

these, minus the ryan adams myerhoff debacle, were what I saw this year….all, excluding the ryan adams myerhoff debacle, were good in their own way….the white stripes show rocked, devotchka was awesome, and robyn hitchcock was well, robyn hitchcock

What happened at the Ryan Adams debacle?

I left halfway through….he was drunken then normal, yelling, then had to go get a "cortisone" shot

compared to the show I saw at the 9:30 in 2002, it was just bad
