How about some good news…
Thanks to my main man Eddie, I'm on the books to DJ the Supergrass show. To be honest its a huge thrill so hopefully a bunch of the regulars will be at the show. See you all in the backbar afterwords.

That is pretty cool. I am so jealous. I wonder if you could be bribed to play a John Cooper Clark song?
Another girl another planet might be good though….

Rock on Kosmo! I'm going to the Grandaddy show tonight and will buy my Supergrass ticket. Can't wait to hear what you are going to play. Might I suggest an Echo & the Bunnyman song?? ;) It's not a request if it's only a suggestion, right? LOL.

Hate to be the dark cloud on such a positive thread but tomorrow's gig has been cancelled. No further info is at our disposal right yet but as it comes down the pike we'll set it out here.

From NME:
SUPERGRASS have returned home from their US tour due to family illness.
The group have been on the road supporting Radiohead on their current US dates, and were due to play two nights at the Madision Square Garden this week (October 9-10).
Last night Radiohead singer Thom Yorke announced from the stage that Supergrass would not be able to play the dates. A spokesperson for the band told NME.COM they are coming back to the UK due to illness in one of the band memberâ??s family.

Wow that sucks. I saw them Friday in a VERY small venue in Orlando and Saturday opening for RH. I was planning on going tonight just for the hell of it but looks like I get to save $15 now. Personally I think Radiohead should cover for them tonight. :D

I went through the full emotional scale.
1. Denial
2. Anger
3. Remorse
4. Reflections
5. Acceptance
Boo Hoo
I took off work today and I had to debate myself between Supergrass and Hot Hot Heat.
Bah but my heart goes out for family.
Stupid work
Stupid money giving work

Kosmo, can you tell us when else you might be spinning? (And is it annoying to refer to it as spinning, or is that the correct term>)
