What was fugly about christian's design? Maybe a little derivative of the people he's worked for (Westwood and McQueen, if my memory serves me correctly… oh, and Bubbles in the Annapolis mall). Rami's dress looked great on the form, but kind of misshapen on his model.

I admit, I'm rooting for Christian, but I don't think I have blinders on here. We'll see how it works out.

I agree that Rami is a ringer.

I am glad there is no "Laura" this year…yet.

I kind of like Christian as a character/person…however, I just think that the style reflected in his design is played out, for one thing, and that it is fussy and unattractive…but, admittedly, I go for more flowing, simple things.

I liked Rami's design alot, but he needs to lose the rosette! Doesn't he remember that goony chick Angela from last season?

My first reaction to that garment is blech. The sleeves are tubey and the torso is sacky. The look doesn't compliment the model's body at all. But it is high fashion and I am here to learn. If it were that simple, everyone would be wearing baby dolls by the lingerie designer.

That was my problem with it. He sat around criticizing other people for making things that had been "done," yet his jacket was SO done and SO WESTWOOD…i mean he might as well have just blatantly ripped her off…if he's a great designer, he should be able to pull some real innovation out of that ass of his instead of something that's been done before. and don't diss the others if you can't do it yourself.

I have an office pool going for this season of Project Runway. You pick who will be aufed each week and get points if you are correct. There is a small entry fee - 50% goes to charity and 50% to the winner. The deadline to sign up is tomorrow at 7:00. PM me if you want the details.

Whipped? How 'bout open minded? I'll give anything one chance. If the chicks are hot, I'll keep watching even though I don't know the slightest thing about fashion design. Take "So You Think You Can Dance?" - Cat Deely is enough for me to watch that show, but if you throw in Cheslie, Courtney and Kharington - I'm sold. Sure I have the laptop out and I'm multi-tasking most of the time, but I'll look up every now and then to see what's going on.

my wife would never force me to watch anything, otherwise its 9 straight months of soccer/football/hockey/basketball

besides, most of us are white people that like stuff, what are we going to talk to our gay friends about if not project runway
