Most Annoying Singers...

Some of us will find this list to be rather accurate. They pretty much nailed the top three.

I refuse to accept that there are 9 singers more annoying then Celine Dion.

Those targets are too easy. Who are the worst singers in hipster jizzed-over bands? The dipshit singer from Cockerville River would probably be my #1.

While I've liked the vocals on early My Morning Jacket albums, the new album, with that goddamn falsetto, is really grating, as are the boring songs.

Well they did also leave off Axl Rose so theer is room for improvement in this list!

dude from CYHSY, and dudette from Ponytail, are at the top of my list.

What's-his-name from Fine Young Cannibals. That voice makes me want to jam spikes into my ears.

Jim James from My Morning Jacket, esp. when he's yelling the words.

yeah, he drives me crazy… like no one else.

The non-falsetto vocal parts in "Highly Suspicious" (Track 3) are even more cringe-inducing than the falsetto parts.

Lou Reed and um all of the bands trying to sound like Talking Heads. Actually, most indie rock vocalists are annoying. It's not like there are many that could actually pass the muster on American Idol.

Other than that one good Pixies album, Frank Black's entire vocal career is on big annoyance.

whoah…I LOVE Frank Black's vocals on the Teenager of the Year LP. One of my favorite records of all time. And I still like the first Fine Young Cannibals record too.

Agreed on CYHSY though. I hated them from day 1.

Bono needs to be on the top of that list.

His singing, in and of itself, isn't that annoying, but if we're doing "Most annoying people who just sp happen to be singers," then he's maybe the only person I can think of who can rival Celine.

Where's Dave Matthews and Serj Tankian? Axl Rose is a no-brainer. And I know I'll get flamed for this, but Bob Dylan. At least his voice in the 60's.

i love the singer for okkervil rivers voice..makes the band almost

i supposed that k-fed and ashlee simpson were too obvious even for that article.

and i'm somewhat shocked that no one yet has laid some hate on thom yorke.

Tons of singers that have ruined bands for me. Off hand, the singer for Arcade Fire, which is probably about 90% why I can't stand that band.
