CHUCK BERRY to play Virgin Fest!!!
watch out for any home videos in the bathroom
We didn't know this? It said it in the most recent issue of Spin. It said "Check Berry and NIN at the same festival!?!" and had an arrow pointed to the Vfest logo.
seth said he could put a couple of cameras in the porta-johns.
They will do the interviews in the porta johns, cameras and all.
i think he's playing a different festival.
no one cares about chuck berry and he would sell exactly Zero tickets.
Limp Bizkit would sell more tickets.

I saw him open for the Dead in Portland '95. Verdict among every breathing person in the vicinity: Chuck sucked.
Badly. Totally out of tune and rhythm, it was almost surreal how out of it he was. I'm not gonna shit on anyone organizing a festival but damn, that would be an odd choice.

"State Police Capt. Kevin Burke said with the installation of two surveillance cameras, troopers will be using nine cameras to monitor traffic and activity in the Arts Center's sprawling parking lots."
no more tailgating for John Mayer, OAR, 311, Beatstock and Projekt Revolution! what will the kids do?!?

last year Baltimore had some Jazz festival the second weekend in August, with BB King, Al Green and Little Richard
i suppose if Berry just came out for a quick 20 minute set….certainly not for a whole hour!

Maybe Jerry Lee Lewis will open up for Chuck Berry. Old timers ball.
I'd like to see Chuck's cousin, Marvin.
Chuck Berry Remembers Call From Cousin About White Kid Playing 'Johnny B. Goode'
WENTZVILLE, MOâ??In a shocking revelation that turns a half century of rock-and-roll history on its head, legendary musician Chuck Berry recalled Monday how he got the idea for his iconic song "Johnny B. Goode"â??believed for decades to have been written by Berry himselfâ??after listening to a white teenager playing it over the telephone. "I'll never forget that night back in 1955 when I got the call from [cousin] Marvin [Berry] saying, 'Chuck, this is that sound you've been looking for!'" recounted Berry, explaining that his cousin was playing an "Enchantment Under The Sea"â??themed high school dance when the mysterious teen, Calvin Klein, took to the stage and single-handedly invented rock and roll as we now know it. "Marvin held up the phone and I heard the song that would make me famous. Then I stole it."

Chuck Berry is this years Who or Police. The token old timers act.
Maybe Marty Mcfly will be there
Whether he sounds good or not. THis is more of a special appearance kind of thing then a guy they want to headline. I know I will definitely watch him, simply because this is one of the guys who created rock and roll as we know it. If it wasn't for Chuck Berry, who knows if there would even be a Foo Fighters, STP. Or hell, Zeppelin, Queen, etc.
This is more about seeing a legend perform than anything else, and I'm all for it.

Well damn no Tutti Fruiti??????? Well, as long as he plays God Golly Ms Molly, then that will make the 200 dollar tickets worthwhile.
