Strangely enough, after recently having a conversation with a friend about the Masons, when I choose a new book to start reading today, I had forgotten what the date was. When I realized it, I thought it was a bit humorous. In fact, I've already gotten to the part that talks about 666 being the number of the Beast. Since this book is such a beast in itself, I had put it off for a couple years waiting for a time when I was in one of my voracious reading phases. Moving along rather well so far.

funny, i am re-reading it too. . .i am understanding the satire in it much better than when i originally read it in college.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm glad that I waited so long to read it because it gave me more time to learn about so much of the background that is needed to fully understand the book properly. Not a book for the young.

Had to put my reading off for a few days for a few obligations but once I got back, strangely enough, it took me 6 days to read the book. (Read the 2nd half in the last day.) It's definitely a book to read during a reading frenzy otherwise you loose track of too much.
