It will be interesting to see how their specialized presale goes. It sounds ambitious but fair. Taking care of the fans. Has anyone heard any of the new music?

Did I ever tell you all about the time Gwyneth Paltrow was sitting at the table next to mine at the Grange Hall in Greenwich Village?

That's how U2 used to do it before they created the biggest pre-sale "scandal in the history of music" for this years tour.
They used to send Propaganda (fan club)subscribers a packet which you could rank venues and sections and give them credit card information. About 3 weeks before the show, tickets showed up in the mail. I had my first choice of venue and section for every tour starting back with the Joshua Tree tour - without fail.
The difference is that Propoganda used to cost money and this Coldplay stuff is free (sure to be overloaded and create a mess). Hopefully, they will allocate tickets by how long you've been a member of "In My Place" which should guarantee me tickets for the Mrs., otherwise, I could be in trouble.

the only good thing about the new Coldplay is maybe it will enable Kraftwerk to tour the US more… They have lifted the riff from "Computer Love" for a song. Of course they will also be sulling the likes of Bowie and Eno too

i'm definitely up for seeing kraftwerk again.
i caught them in miami in novemer and part of the set at coachella and it really pissed me off that i wasn't able to make the toronto show i had tickets for.

Rumor has it Coldplay is playing a show in LA tomorrow night for like 200 people. It's an Industry only thing as a warmup for the KCRW charity gig.
They're also playing the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas for the 10th Anniversary of the Hotel on April 29. Ticktes for that should be no problem, probably don't even need a pre-sale or anything.
