I've been listening to this band called The Sword…they are fucking amazing…Their playing at the black cat next weds. but I cant go…I'd kill to go….anyways if you like rock in general check them out (Imagine Ozzy Osbourne's band on speed and mixed with Lynard Skynard)…Atleast I will be seeing Gwar next thursday….

I am going and am really looking forward to it. Saw them a couple weeks ago in Austin and it was fantastic. The new songs, to a one, all sounded like instant classics, if you're into waves of heavy riffs.
And Valient Thorr, one of the openers, is pretty awesome too. They've got more of a post-metal sound, with jerky rhythms and David Yow-like vocals.
